Jiandong Huang, professor, L & T Charitable Foundation Professor in Biomedical Sciences, University of Hong Kong, Deputy Chairman, Synthetic Biotechnology Branch of the China Medical Biotechnology Association, Deputy Director of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Translational Medicine Alliance, member of Asia-Pacific International Molecular Biology Organization, serving as a reviewer for more than 20 international journals, including Nature Methods, Nature Protocols, and grant reviewer for National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC) (major project) and The Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province. Prof. Huang is the first researcher to conduct synthetic biology research in Hong Kong and one of the leading figures in the field of synthetic biology in China.
