Longlong SIProfessor

Development of new strategies and systems for studying virus infection, prevention, and control.

Longlong Si is a professor in Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Si received his B.Sc. degree from West China School of Pharmacy, Sichuan University, and Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from State Key Laboratory of Natural and Biomimetic Drugs, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Peking University. He was a Wyss Technology Development Fellow and Postdoc Fellow in Biomedical Engineering and Synthetic Biology at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University and Harvard Medical School before he moved to SIAT as a professor. His works were published in Science, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Science Advances, Biomaterials, and other influential journals.

Major research directions: Biomedical Engineering, Human Organ-on-a-Chip, Virus Engineering.
